The latest report indicates that existing home and condo sales are up for the third quarter of 2011.

Exisitng home sales rose 12% with a total of 46.759 homes sold statewide.  The same period the year before totaled 41,728 homes.  Statewide sales of exisitng condos rose 13% in thie third quarter. 

The exisiting home median sales price continued to stabliize and remained level at $136,000.  The median condo sales was was $89,600, up from $83,700 for the same period last year. 

These figures confirm the general improvement in Florida's housing market, both in sales and in prices.
